Linen Care Touch of Europe

After a cold and gloomy winter, there’s nothing like springtime — sunshine, flowers in bloom, great weather! I can’t think of anything to complain about… except allergies and spring cleaning.

Many people love spring cleaning, but even more of us dread the very idea of it. We can all agree that a light, airy, and organized space that looks and smells amazing is well worth the effort though.

Let’s talk laundry (collective sigh). Specifically those heavy, bulky winter linens. When the weather starts to warm up and you need to store your winter linens and bedding in a safe place until next year,  it’s easy to fold everything up, throw it in a plastic tub, and shove it in the garage… but how effective is that practice? Not very. Your linens, (especially the vintage ones) need more attention than that.

So roll up your sleeves, throw the windows open and let some fresh air in, find some music you can jam to, and let’s get started.

Before you store your winter bedding and linens and pull your spring/summer linens out of their containers, you want to take great care in cleaning them all.
